The essential vocation of its public safety aviation is to protect the population, the territories and French sovereignty.
With a helicopter taking off every 20 minutes on average, the Forces Aériennes de la Gendarmerie Nationale (FAGN) carry out, day and night, the missions most essential to national security of the country.
